Hillstown Farm and Shop, Randalstown
128 Glebe Road – Randalstown – Co. Antrim – BT41 3DT
Open 9am - 5pm on Saturday 15th June (closed Sunday)
Hillstown Farm has been in the Logan family for four generations and supplies beef, sheep and rare breed pigs to the public through their fantastic farm shop. In addition to this, their on site chef prepares fresh meat pies, pastries, desserts and soups to be enjoyed by the customers. They believe that local is best and try to keep food miles to a minimum, with the farthest away product being sourced from only 20 miles away!
Recently they have had a new addition to the farm – two llamas, Strawberry and Shortcake. These new members of the family can also be seen during Open Farm Weekend.
Hillstown hosted a fantastic event with up to 1,000 people attending on each day. The highlight of the day for many was the "Hillstown Humdinger" an amazing eating challenge where brave (and very hungry) members of the public can take on the humungous burger - the Hillstown Humdinger. Nigel decided last year's Humdinger was too easy so this year the burger is an incredible 24oz of burger meat plus bacon, cheese, ham, salad and bap and staggering 54oz in total!
Do you dare take on the Hillstown Humdinger?
